about the brand bucket company

BARNABY WYNTER

Barnaby spent twenty fours years in the advertising industry working for a number of different agencies before starting his marketing consultancy "The Brand Bucket Company", named after the trademarked branding philosophy first developed for SAAB in 1985 and outlined in his new book.

Today Barnaby helps businesses re-evaluate their approach to marketing through:
1. The Brand Bucket Business Masterclass
2. Public Speaking Nationally and Internationally
3.  Article writing and book publishing
4. Running marketing campaigns for a few clients

After receiving a BSc Honours degree in Psychology in 1985, Barnaby Wynter took simultaneous Postgraduate Diplomas, one in Advertising and one in Marketing. He followed this with a three-month work experience scheme at the top 40 advertising agency, Lonsdale's.

From there he joined a small agency Reid Walker Advertising to help launch the Fiat Fiorino and Fiat Ducato. This gave him enough experience to join the team at Ogilvy and Mather Advertising (O&M) to work on the TV launch of the Ford Sierra and Ford Granada, later being promoted to the launches of Radion, Argos, Birds Eye Healthy Options Steakhouse and Liptonice. It was at O&M where his love affair with the internet began after downloading one of the first pictures on the internet. (It took 53 minutes and was of a kettle on a lab bench).

After almost six years, Barnaby left O&M to improve his understanding of the creative process and worked for three years each at two other agencies Reay Keating Hamer (becoming Mellors Reay) and Walsh Trott Chick Smith, launching brands such as Boots Opticians, Red Stripe Lager, Woodpecker Red, Toshiba Home Cinema, Sunday Express and First Telecom.

In 1999 Barnaby joined The Communications Unit as MD combining his knowledge of the internet and big brand experience to manage the launch of E*Trade in the UK and Europe. The last ten years have included rebranding, launches and the ongoing marketing for the likes of Marie Curie Cancer Care, The Children's Society, Bookham Technology, Deutsche Post, Classic FM, The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists among 470 brands, start-ups and NASDAQ and FTSE businesses.

Today Barnaby is focused on ensuring as many organisations as possible cut out the 80% of waste in their marketing.
